One-2-One has been in the market since 2004 and was originally designed in consultation with many of Australia’s leading record management professionals. It continues to be enhanced and improved based on feedback from these professionals and an expanding world wide user base.
One-2-One features optional Direct Connection integration with records management systems. This provides a capability to immediately update permitted elements, terms, scope notes, non-preferred terms, disposal definitions and disposal links of the target classification structure, consistent with applicable business rules, even after records have been attached or profiled. Overcomes the limitations associated with vendor import/export transfer file processes and removes need to process such export/reimport operations.
Currently supporting Trim Context, Objective 7, OpenText eDocs [previously Hummingbird Enterprise (2004 [DM5] or 2005 [DM6])] and Termwise for Interwoven (from Trinogy Systems). No longer will you need to export to transfer files then import and verify.
One-2-One is also being used for knowledge maps and other hierarchical classifications and controlled vocabulary applications.

How safe is Direct Connect?
Some clients have asked if One-2-One Direct Connect integration “might potentially corrupt their EDRMS database?”
The answer, borne out by almost 5 years of One-2-One use by a large number of users, is NO, it is quite safe.
One-2-One only ever uses the API/SDK facilities of vendor products. It never makes direct access to the actual underlying database used by the EDRMS system.
An API/SDK is a connection interface, developed by the vendor, providing safe mechanisms to read and write data to the database. Any potential dangerous requests are blocked by this interface thus ensuring the integrity of the EDRMS database is always protected
